Respect in Sport for Coaches
The Respect in Sport (Speak Out) Program is required for youth leaders to recognize, understand and respond to issues of Abuse, Bullying and Harassment. It may be the single most important training that coaches as leaders can receive to create a safe, healthy, and positive environment for our children and youth. This course is mandatory for all coaches, managers and on-ice helpers in the association.
RESPECT IN SPORT FOR ACTIVITY LEADERS AND COACHES offers an engaging and easy to use internet-based training course for sport leaders of all levels. The intent of this training is to:
- Empower and educate youth leaders/coaches on the prevention of abuse, bullying and harassment.
- Build a holistic culture of respect within the sport community.
- Provide fundamental training tools which enable ALL coaches and youth leaders to become even better role models for the young athletes in their care.

Respect in Sport for Parents
Is an effective and informative online training program for parents of active children. This unique certification program compliments Respect in Sport for Coaches/Activity Leaders by reinforcing a parents role in a child or youth's activities, encouraging positive sport behaviors, and providing insight into the various roles other individuals (such as coaches and officials) play. This program empowers parents to ensure the safety of their children, encourage positive and effective communication, and to enhance a child's fun and camaraderie of the activity.
